More and more entrepreneurs are trying to find new business models in the skyrocketing art world. A few days ago I encountered a business model in which collectors can buy shares of leading artists. The company, My Art Invest is, as written on the company website, “an investment platform for anyone with an interest in the art market. Their platform gives anyone the opportunity to invest in a large range of contemporary art and go into co-ownership with friends or other investors.”
